Our commitment

Upgraded is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across all pages we control.

What we have done

  • Used semantic HTML and meaningful heading structures so pages are navigable with a keyboard and a screen reader.
  • Ensured sufficient colour contrast between text and background.
  • Added descriptive alt text to imagery that carries meaning.
  • Made navigation reachable by keyboard and provided a skip-to-content link.
  • Tested core pages with modern assistive technology and fixed issues we found.

Known limitations

Some third-party tools we embed, and some older content we are still porting, may not fully meet our accessibility goals. We are working to bring these in line.
