Imprint

The document pipeline trained on your voice.

Most document tools give you a template. Imprint learns how you write, how you present, and what your clients expect. Then it produces every ebook, compliance doc, SOP, and brief in your voice, at a fraction of the time.

  • Trained on your voice and brand
  • Produces ebooks, compliance docs, SOPs, and briefs
  • Self-proofing before it lands
  • ~90 seconds per document

The maths

What documents actually cost to produce.

Whether you're commissioning ebooks or producing compliance documents, the manual approach compounds fast. The numbers below reflect what Australian businesses typically spend producing recurring documents the traditional way. Imprint compresses all of that into one pipeline and one operating cost.

For content businesses (ebooks, guides, thought leadership)

  • Designer plus writer per ebook $1,500 to $3,500
  • Time to ship one ebook the traditional way 4 to 6 weeks
  • Foundation breaks even against 3 to 4 commissions

For professional services (compliance docs, SOAs, client reports)

  • Paraplanner or paralegal time per document $320 to $1,200
  • Time to draft a Statement of Advice from scratch 4 to 8 hours
  • Foundation breaks even against 4 to 15 documents
Time to generate any document with Imprint ~90 seconds
Imprint, from $4,500 setup + $299 / mo

Benchmarks reflect typical Australian freelance ebook commissioning and paraplanner hourly rates. Your numbers may vary.

The problem

Twenty ebook ideas in your head, two on your site.

Every coach, consultant, and brand-led founder we talk to has a backlog of ebook topics they meant to ship. Lead magnets for the new offer. Companion guides for the course. The book the audience keeps asking for. The bottleneck is never ideas. It's production.

For advisors, accountants, and compliance-heavy practices, the problem is different. It's a document they produce 10, 15, or 20 times a month. A Statement of Advice that takes six hours to draft from scratch. A client brief rewritten for every engagement. An annual review report built on last year's version, patched together with find-and-replace. Every one of them supposed to read like it came from the same person, in the same voice, at the same standard. Most of the time, they don't.

For trade businesses trying to standardise, the problem is simpler: the SOP that exists in someone's head, not on paper. The job brief that gets rewritten on site because the template is on a laptop at the depot. The safety checklist that was photocopied in 2018 and still has the old address on it. Document debt compounds quietly, until a new hire can't onboard or a job site incident exposes the gap.

See one

Here is what a production Imprint pipeline looks like for a wellness brand. Compliance docs and operational templates look different but the fidelity is the same.

We built Imprint for Girl Gut.

Girl Gut is a women's gut health brand led by Ashleigh Bott. Ash is the brand. Her voice is the asset. The catalogue she needed to ship was substantial: lead magnets for the email funnel, paid guides for the store, course companions for the modules, half a dozen seasonal pieces.

The bottleneck was Ash. No template, no freelance writer, no generic AI tool sounded like her. We built her an Imprint pipeline calibrated to her voice from podcast transcripts, with a custom four-quadrant women's health diagram baked in as a reusable component. She ships ebooks now in the time it takes her to record a voice note.

How it works

Four steps to a branded document pipeline.

  1. Step 01

    We onboard your brand.

Voice document, founder transcripts, fonts, palette, logo, sample materials. We map the patterns, the phrases, the diagrams that are uniquely yours. One-off setup, around two weeks.

  2. Step 02

    We configure your document types.

A Python pipeline built to your identity, deployed and tested with two seed documents in your configured format. You review the seeds with us sentence by sentence. We tune until the voice lands.

  3. Step 03

You submit a title, brief, or transcript.

Drop a title, a rough outline, or a transcript into the intake folder. Run one command. The pipeline produces a polished branded document, ready to send.

  4. Step 04

    It drafts, proofs, and delivers.

A vision-based proofing pass reads each page, catches layout issues, banned words, brand violations, and content overflow. It auto-corrects and re-renders until the document hits your quality bar.

Before you ask

The two questions every founder has before they sign up.

Two questions land in every sales call. Here are our straight answers.

Will it actually sound like my brand?

Calibrated, not generated.

Imprint is calibrated against your founder's actual transcripts plus a written voice doc we build with you at setup. Two seed documents ship before the pipeline goes live. You walk through them with us sentence by sentence, and we tune until the voice lands.

The pipeline does not switch on until that bar is met. If after the seeds the voice still reads off, we keep tuning at no extra cost.

What if it produces something off-brand?

Proofed before you see it.

Every document runs through a vision-AI proofing pass before it lands on your desk. It reads each page like a human reviewer, catches layout issues, banned words, brand violations, and overflow, then auto-corrects until the output hits your bar.

For taste-level feedback, drop a voice note in the feedback folder. The system triages, edits the brief, and regenerates. Each round teaches the pipeline.

How is it different

Why this isn't an Inkfluence subscription with a higher price tag.

We get this question every demo. The honest answer: Imprint and template ebook tools are different categories, not different price points of the same thing.

What you get

Everything that goes into a polished, branded document, automated.

  • Voice fidelity

Trained on your founder’s actual transcripts plus a brand voice document we build with you. Output reads like she wrote it, not like an AI did.

  • Visual identity end to end

Custom typography, brand colours, callout boxes, decorative dividers, illustrative diagrams. Bespoke graphics unique to you.

  • Self-proofing pipeline

Vision AI reads each generated page, catches errors and brand violations, auto-corrects, regenerates. Human review is optional, not required.

  • Document catalogue

Manage 20+ document topics in one spreadsheet. Flip a status flag to regenerate any subset. One source of truth for the whole library.

  • Document type configuration

Ebooks, SOPs, compliance docs, client briefs, or any recurring template. Each type is configured separately during setup so the output always matches the format.

  • Tiered output length

Lead-magnet intros at 2,500 to 3,500 words. Paid product deep dives at 3,500 to 5,500 words. One pipeline, two output styles.

  • Configurable document endings

CTAs for content, next-steps summaries for compliance documents, sign-off blocks for SOPs. Every document ends the right way for its type.

  • Versioned feedback loop

Drop a voice note or transcript of your reactions in the feedback folder. The system triages, edits the brief, and regenerates. Each round teaches the pipeline.

  • Built on Anthropic Claude

Claude Sonnet for content generation, Claude vision for proofing. Runs on your infrastructure or ours. No third-party SaaS in the stack.

Not best for

Where to look if Imprint isn't the fit.

If you produce one or two documents a year, the manual approach is cheaper. Brief a freelance writer and designer per project, or draft it yourself. Imprint pays back at consistent volume: below six documents a month, the infrastructure overhead exceeds the saving.

If you want a low-cost template tool to format existing blog content into a PDF, look at Designrr or Beacon. They do that well. Imprint is a different category: bespoke pipeline, not multi-tenant SaaS.

If your brand voice isn't yet defined, work on the brand first. Imprint amplifies a voice; it doesn't manufacture one. Talk to us about voice and positioning work first, with Imprint following once the voice is locked.

If your process requires a human to approve every document before it leaves the business, Imprint accelerates that process: it doesn't bypass it. Imprint drafts and proofs, but it does not replace the adviser of record or the compliance officer's final review. For ASIC-regulated documents, the licensed adviser still signs off.

Questions

The ones we hear most.

Got something we haven't covered? Drop us a line at hello@upgraded.au and we'll get back within one business day.

  • Is the writing actually good, or does it read as AI?

    +

Imprint is calibrated against your founder’s actual transcripts plus a brand voice document we build with you at setup. The output reads like she wrote it, not like AI did. We test this before the pipeline goes live by generating two seed ebooks and walking through them with you sentence by sentence. If anything reads off, we tune the voice profile until it lands.

  • How is this different from Designrr or Inkfluence AI?

    +

Designrr reformats existing blog content into templated PDFs. Inkfluence layers a tone slider on top of generic AI output. Both are multi-tenant SaaS products serving the same template at scale. Imprint is a pipeline custom-built for one brand: trained on your specific voice, rendered in your specific visual identity, with self-proofing tuned to your specific quality bar. Different category, different cost.

  • What if my brand voice isn’t well defined yet?

    +

Then Imprint isn’t the right starting point. We need a clear voice to calibrate against. If you’re early in your brand build, the right move is our Strategy and Digital Advice service first, ebook engine second.

  • Who owns the pipeline?

    +

On the recurring plans we host and run it, which keeps the model tuned, the quality bar maintained, and the infrastructure managed. If you’d prefer to own and run the codebase yourself, that’s a one-off custom build conversation. Ask us about it.

  • What if Imprint produces something off-brand or wrong?

    +

The self-proofing pass catches most issues before you see anything. For taste-level feedback, drop a voice note or a transcript of your reactions in the feedback folder. The system triages, edits the brief, and regenerates. Each round of feedback teaches the pipeline.

  • How fast can I get my first document?

    +

Setup takes around two to three weeks: brand calibration, voice training, visual identity build, pipeline deployment, two seed documents. After that, the pipeline writes and self-proofs a new document in around ninety seconds from a title, brief, or transcript.

  • If generation takes ninety seconds, why are the tier limits monthly?

    +

Compute isn’t the bottleneck; brand fidelity is. Each cap is what a single brand voice can ship before drift creeps in: repeated phrasings, stylistic ruts, the AI starting to sound like itself rather than your founder. The monthly fee covers the voice tuning, editorial reviews, and infrastructure that keep the cap meaningful. We can ship more in a day than a year of freelance commissioning, but not more in a month than your brand voice can carry without losing what makes it yours.

  • Is Imprint exclusive to my brand, or can a competitor use it too?

    +

Each Imprint pipeline is custom-calibrated to one brand. By definition no two pipelines are the same, even when both clients are in the same vertical. Your voice profile, your visual identity, your output. We don’t licence the same pipeline to anyone else.

  • Is there a lock-in contract?

    +

No lock-in. Month to month after setup. If it isn’t working for your business, you can cancel any time with 30 days notice. The setup fee is non-refundable since the brand calibration work is done upfront.

  • Can Imprint produce compliance documents like Statements of Advice?

    +

Yes. Imprint can draft SOAs, Records of Advice, Financial Services Guides, client reports, and other recurring compliance documents to your firm’s standard and in your adviser’s voice. It drafts and self-proofs: the licensed adviser or compliance officer still reviews and signs off. What changes is how long that draft takes to produce.

  • Can Imprint produce SOPs and operational documents for a trade business?

    +

Yes. Job briefs, site safety checklists, onboarding templates, induction documents, tender response sections: any document you produce repeatedly and want to standardise is a candidate. The pipeline is configured for your document types during setup.

  • Does Imprint replace a paralegal, paraplanner, or document specialist?

    +

It replaces the drafting and formatting work those roles do on recurring documents. A paraplanner still reviews, personalises for the client, and signs off. What they no longer do is start from a blank document, copy-paste from last month’s version, or spend four hours producing something that should take twenty minutes.
