Not best for

Where to look if TradeGuard isn't the fit.

If you price five-figure jobs over the phone (custom builds, complex commercial work), the AI can qualify and book a follow-up call but you will close most of those yourself. We can still cover after-hours, but the daytime case is weaker.

If your callers need human empathy as the first contact (acute medical, distressed clients, end-of-life logistics), the AI is good at booking and routing, not at sitting with someone in a hard moment. A human-first answering service is the right call.

If you already have a human receptionist who answers reliably and books the jobs well, leave it alone. TradeGuard is for the gap that voicemail and missed calls are filling now, not for replacing a receptionist who is already doing the job.

  • Will my customers know they are talking to an AI?

    We are upfront that it is a smart booking service. In our experience, callers just want a quick answer and a booking, and the AI delivers that better than a voicemail ever could. If you prefer, we can have it disclose the AI part explicitly.

  • What happens if the AI cannot handle a call?

    Tricky calls are forwarded to you or escalated to a backup number you set. If you are unavailable, the AI takes a detailed message and texts it through. You never get caught out.

  • Do I need to change my phone number?

    No. We set up call forwarding from your existing number, so nothing changes for your customers. If you want a dedicated after-hours number only, we can do that too.

  • How long does setup take?

    Most Starter and Pro setups go live within three to five business days. Scale, with deeper CRM integrations, usually takes a week or two.

  • Can I tweak the script whenever I want?

    Yes. You can request changes any time through the dashboard, and we refine the script every month on Pro and Scale. Starter gets a quarterly review.

  • What if I go over my included minutes?
